Just found a decent MR (probably? a better SR)

2/28 - 3/3 (2 nights, 3 full days of flying)

BOS-ORD-SFO-LAX-JFK-SJU-MIA-DFW-LAX-SFO-LAX-DFW-BOS

12 segments, $791
14484 EQM, 5.4 cpm

2x in AFS transcons, and the SJU flights in the international 757, so EXPs should have decent flights.

Most expensive fare component is the SJU-SFO $210, so maybe can work that down by going SJU-SAN or something.

Still 15k EQM for three days of flying, maybe you're better off burning a EVIP and going ORD-TYO and back.

Hoping this drops back down. $262 in February and September '13. I've paid ~$300 many times on this route in the last two years.

It's easy to go from SJU-SXM for under $100. I would recommend Jetblue because they have a loyalty program. Your other choices will be Caribbean carriers like Liat. SXM-SJU, though, will never be under $100 because (taken from matrix):

St. Maarten Airport Improvement Fee (IW) 9.00
St. Maarten Airport Departure Tax (FH) 64.80
St. Maarten Passenger Screening Fee (FG) 19.64
