LH: LAX-VKO RT $640 ai 4.4 CPM
A $403 flight from LAX to VKO (Moscow) popped up on my radar, but it's a direct flight on Transaero that doesn't seem to earn miles.
I did see two stop itineraries on Lufthansa, though, for $640. Routing is LAX-ORD-DUS-VKO-FRA-ORD-LAX which nets 14,597 miles. United credits 100% for Lufthansa L fares, except "within Europe only", so I am unclear on whether the DUS-VKO and VKO-FRA legs would count. With those legs, it's 4.4 CPM. Without those legs, it's 5.3 CPM.
Matrix doesn't seem to pull up the same fares that I am seeing on Kayak. Try a search with dates 10/26 to 11/30 with +/- 3 days enabled to see these fares.
