Thank you. Also as per the flight deal: Two stopovers are permitted at $100 each. None permitted in Guam. (United)

Any good routing ideas to visit other Asian country ? Tx

Layovers in HNL and GUM for $780 will get you 21760 miles for 3.58 cpm. Can get the island hopper as well for the masochists out there.

Clearly UA is to go head-to-head against CX, but they are not dropping the W fares or even the J fares.

I really I could get one of these HKG deals X: SAN. Driving to LA, or leaving from SAN just kills this MR.

Out on march 20
Return march 24

More miles and same fare to Hawaii or Europe

Methinks Catman was referring to the fact that for the same price as Europe or Hawaii you get more miles @:-)

Just to clarify - HNL-MAJ-KWA-PNI-TKK-GUM is credited as HNL-GUM as direct with stops.

Gets booked that way... one can manage to split it after booking with a nice agent .

Depends on if you can get an agent to split the segments. :-:

This is a good deal, but is this still good to get for status ?

Under new money spend require from 2014, in order to get gold with this fare, one need to fly this routing 6x + 1 short haul domestic in order to reach gold. Old requirement without money spend requirement only need for this routing 2x (thru HNL) + 1 transcon/2 mid haul domestic.

No MR is good to get 1K. However Silver, Gold and Plat can be obtained via CC or CC spend.

Also, this is a good deal if you have to go there anyway!

Gotta love competition!
