IMHO, there will always be grasshoppers here, and they might hop across something interesting. Might as well make it a tiny bit easier for them.

But thanks for being so kind and tactful to me. I've been hanging around long enough I should have remembered it. And there were a couple other clues by the OP that should have nudged my brain.

It pains my heart that there were FTers that didn't know (right off the top of their head) that PVG is Shanghai. ;-)

Did price go up? The best I can find in Jan is DL via DTW@$935

For those booking on MU, make sure to check the fare class to see whether it will earn 100% MQMs. I got burned on this several months ago and lost 7k+ MQMs...

NH also has the lowest min stay with only 3 days reqd but it makes sure that you need a visa for China if applicable.
MU within China also books in K which seems to earn miles
