US DCA/IAD-ANC $418AI/9157mi (UA=8263 mi)
Found on ITA, bookable at US;not too bad for *A miles. Best miles were 9157 on 10/1-2 on US Price available 9/30 through 10/8; depending on connections, price went from $415-423. UA & DL also showing but less miles on UA, 8263 @418AI; didn't check direct w/DL.

Thanks for posting ^ I found $415.70 for IAD-ANC. While not as cheap as I've seen in the past, this is the cheapest I've been able to find for a couple of months.

I grabbed this one for a mileage jog. leaving late morning (8 OCT) CO DCA-IAH-SEA-ANC and ANC-SEA-IAH-DCA on the way home. I'm staying in ANC for 24 hours just because its a holiday weekend and I need a stay with Hilton. Plus, I've never been to ANC.
$420 equates to .046 CPM but that doesn't facor in the other miles I'll be getting for booking on site with my CO credit card and the double miles per dollar spent on said CO card.

Hey all!
This looks like a fantastic deal - and I too have always wanted to go to Alaska, though I might get greedy and stay 48 hours! hahahaa
I'll be signing up for a trial preferred run before I start this, as I have no status with any airlines and this seems like a great flight to kick off my next 90 days (with lots of US air flights).
