good deal for sure, it wont qualify for the triple miles because of the fare code I don't think, but pretty cheap miles.

Wouldn't matter anyway:
AAdvantage bonus mile offer is valid for nonstop travel on American Airlines marketed and operated flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO) from September 3, 2010, through December 31, 2010.

Wasn't it started by B6 to begin with?

ua only offer premium service between those cities and are always more expensive than all the other guys. they usually don't match fares on this route.

AA also offers 3 Class Premium Service (American Flagship Service to be exact) between JFK and SFO/LAX.

no excuses if UA does not match!

ua does not offer "normal" economy on those flights. they only have "premium economy".

Damn, I wish AA would take the fare through 2/26. I've got one weekend open in January through March and that is the weekend of Febr 25-27. A MR to SFO would be a perfect way of beating the winter that weekend.

Can't do same day turn, but can route through DFW and take part in the DEQM promo there.

I'm well aware of that. Like I said, AA and UA are the only 2 carriers offering a premium offering on their flights between JFK and LAX/SFO. First, Business and Economy. Despite what the UA fans say, the same seat with 2-3 inches of extra legroom does not constitute premium economy. BA, VS and QF offer a true premium economy class.

have u confirmed with AA that you would earn DEQM on the DFW-SFO-DFW sector on an itin that originates at JFK/LGA-DFW-SFO and return. I mean it make sense that the DFW-SFO/LAX part of any itinerary should count. But wanted to know if it was confirmed.
