Have to agree with Bruno--Le Colonial has gone to the dogs.

for the reasons he stated?

Le Colonial has become a tourist trap (as have many of the restaurants along this stretch of North Rush Street).
gee, ya think!!??

I'm concerned that Bruno stated Le Colonial is/was his go-to Vietnamese restaurant. Le Colonial ????

I didn't think much when they first opened. Had a really wonderful meal there last summer but we went first thing on a weekday night so didn't have to deal with the packed tables, also had good service as a result of few patrons.

Back after many years. Still unremarkable

My last visit the restaurant was mostly empty, but the service was still slow and the food was so bland it was hard to believe.
