Thats what time I land coming home from San Diego. If not I'll buy some burgers at PHX between flights.

do it, although I've been in DTW a gazillion times in the last few years....I suggest you play it safe (I have always been either connecting or getting into a car so I haven't paid any attention to the food factor after I land late at night)

At DTW all stores and food outlets close around 10pm. The only option after that is what you can find in the vending machines.

I unfortunately got stuck at DTW a couple years ago after my flight to AMS diverted halfway there, back to DTW. Only option was the vending machines, which were not even working at the time.

Westin at the airport might have something at the bar, which by the way is pretty good.

Tonight I learned that the gift/snack/news store by gate A40 and the central tram station stays open until midnight. Hope someone finds this useful.

That may be useful indeed. The missus and I are going to DTW to spend TDay with old college friends, and there's always been a dearth of food at the time we generally get in (post-11pm) ...
