Cheap Dry Cleaners in (South) Loop?

We just moved from Wicker Park to the South Loop and have been searching for a cheap(er) dry cleaner than the one next to our new building. We had a quality dry cleaner in Wicker Park that charged ~$2 per piece, but have not found any one under $12 for a 2 piece suit in the new 'hood. Any suggestions on a 'discount' cleaner either in the South Loop or Loop area (I work in the Loop and can use one there too)??

I usually go to the place on Wabash across from Jewel. A nice Chinese couple, not too expensive. I think it's called Smile Cleaners.

I know it's Near Southside, but at the SW corner of Cermak and Michigan, there's a CD One Price cleaners, everything is $2.29. Haven't used them yet, but it sounds like what you were used to.

More west loop, but I've been going to the "discount" cleaner on Peoria between the Congress and Van Buren. It's just north of the UIC L stop. I've been using them for literally decades.

If you have a car you take out on weekends, they always have parking right out front, but they are just a few steps from the UIC blue line stop.

we use CD One Price cleaners and they do a fine job.

Not as great as a guy we used for a long time but then again he was charging almost $3 a shirt & $5 for a pair of pants.

Same experience here. I still miss Perfecto Cleaners just off the Evanston Northwestern campus (there's still a cleaners there but the old guys have all retired), and CD doesn't come close to that level of service. But for basic services, they are fine and at a reasonable price.

Emerson by the L, same building as a white hen and now philly's best? I used to go there when I lived in Evanston and their service was outstanding, but I do remember it being a lot of old guys.
