What a Chicago mess again!

dang it's a mess again tonight in Chicago, left home with nothing delayed yet, get to ORD and I guess about every flight is delayed tonight... Guess I'll kick back and relax in the new RCC, man that is a nice club, I like it, spend a handfull of drink vouchers and watch the Cubs lose

Just returned from the airport, flew into ORD this evening.

Oh my, the C concourse was a total zoo! We had a delay of "only" 1.5 hours coming in, and obviously we were lucky. The customer service line was insane.

Wow all flights to EWR and LGA are not allowed to depart until a certain time. http://www.fly.faa.gov/flyfaa/Airpor...jsp?go=1&q=ORD

We lucked out. No delay in from Orlando -- actually arrived a little early at about 7:35 pm. Got home about 45 minutes ago.

I actually flew US tonight PHL-ALB. Our incoming express CRJ came from Chicago and we left only about an hour late. I was surprised given that my multiple checks of fly.faa.gov today didn't look very good at all. Thunderstorms everywhere.

Later in the year, as a result of AA and UA axing many flights and the new north runway opening things might actually get a little easier for ORD during irrops.

I heard on the radio late afternoon yesterday that there were no problems at MDW.

I was coming from LGA (where there were storms) to ORD last evening. First flight was canceled, second flight was canceled. Finally got out a few hours late.
