Chicago alert-downtown Blue Line delays

Just got back from Chicago, on weekends and evenings they are shutting down two stations for maintaince on the downtown train. Everybody has to get off at Cumberland then take a bus two stations down to reboard, probably adds half an hour to the trip. No problems on the return trip during the day, I heard it is going to be this way "for awhile".

I wonder if enterprising cab drivers are hanging out at the Montrose station (I guess) waiting to whisk CTA passengers to the airport..?
