Nice Veggie Place in Chicago?

As a thank you to a friend for putting me up for a week can anyone recommend a nice veggie place. Something with atmosphere but isnt too loud and not too expensive.

I hate this place, and I have followed veggie diets for extended periods of time. Ironically, the same chef owns Spring...which is one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

My partner and I ate at Karyn's Cooked and liked it. Here's a link to some reviews:

And here's a link to the menu:

You may want to make reservations if you're going for dinner, as they can get very busy and you might have to wait a long time. Service was not particularly fast on the night we were there, but I don't know if that's standard or not. The food was worth waiting for though.

I didn't much care for the Chicago Diner.

Try Blind Faith in Evanston.
