Super Burrito!

I've known about this little hole in the wall for a while, I kept forgetting to post.

Super Burrito
1502 N. Western Ave
Chicago, IL 60622
(773) 486-4195

They have the BEST burritos in the city. The seasoning on the chicken is fantastic, and I'm also a fan of the steak.

I always get the "Super Burrito" -- comes with avocado.

They used to import the real glass Coca-cola bottles from Mexico (so the coke lacked high fructose corn syrup...yea!), but it seems they've shifted to cans bought in the U.S.

I'm so happy this is a 3 minute car ride away, and there's usually easy parking.

I am always game for a great burrito, and I will keep this in mind next time I am in Chicago.

Two quick questions though: is it close to a train line? I am too lazy right now to pull up Google maps and the CTA trains, and I didn't know if you knew off of the top of your head!

And do they have "wet burritos" where they put enchilada sauce and shredded cheese on the burrito?

Mmmmmmm. Thanks!

Makes La Pasadita look like Taco Hell, IMHO.

Closest train stop would be Western & Armitage on the Blue Line. A little more than a 1/2 mile walk south on Western.

I used to be in that vicinity all the time but not anymore. I goto the Burrito House at the Ravenswood/Addison/Lincoln intersection all the time. He's open from like 9AM to 3AM or something similiarly crazy. I get the 2 steak taco combo + a Horachata every time - $5.94. On the grand scheme of all the Mexican food I've had in Chicago this place ranks pretty high on my list.

I cut my time so close at ORD I usually avoid hearing more than one of those "smoking is not allowed here at O'Hare Int'l Airport" announcements.

But I'd be glad to dry ice some burritos and ship them to you in exchange for an int'l F *A award.

I guess I spend way too much time there between flights.

The new, most annoying message is the "attention passengers - it is illegal for taxi companies to solicit rides..."

How much of a problem was that anyway?

I don't have any spare Intl F A awards...but i would gladly pay for the burritos, dry ice and next day shipping
