Cool bars for all ages?

Need to take out a group of around 10 people next week. Age ranges from me (28) to 60.

All but two are from out of town.

Last year we went to the Signature Room for some cocktails. It was ideal for the out-of-towners.

I was thinking the Whiskey Sky this year. Something kind of touristy, and something that appeals to all ages.

Any other suggestions for bars/lounges of this type? Anything else w/ a nice view of the city?

whiskey sky is nice, but why limit yourself to places with a view. there's a lot of good places in the area at ground level.

I agree, but tourists appreciate the novelty of a view.

So, any thoughts about great "ground level" places?

The top of the W Hotel on Lake Shore Drive and the place at the top of Lake Point Tower both spin around - slowly of course. Not sure what the scoop is on the bar scene. I don't remember either names, but I am sure you can google it.

Whiskey Sky is a good choice. The later it gets, the younger the crowd is.

Given the age spread, I would recommend Howl at the Moon. Even though it is missing the view, It is surprisingly a lot of fun even though I would consider it very touristy. Whenever we have a group meeting here, we always end up there. Everyon has fun and the group is of a simliar 30s to 60 age spread.
