FedEx Drop at ORD?

I'll be transiting ORD this week, international to domestic connections on UA, and would like to drop a FedEx package while in transit (contains my passport going for a visa). Are there any FedEx drop points in the UA terminal/concourses?

If for any reason you can live with USPS Express Mail, the Post Office in T2 might be of help. I'm not aware of a FedEx drop, but you might get lucky with either the RCC (if the package is already sealed, etc.) or the O'Hare Hilton.

Here's the skinny on the Post Office:
U.S. Post Office:The U.S. Post Office has a facility on the upper level of Terminal Two, through security -must be a ticketed passenger. A stamp machine and mail slots are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The post office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed Saturday and Sunday.

Best, Dave

On the south side of ORD off of Irving Park Rd is the latest open FedEx office that I know of in the burbs.

FedEx
O Hare Cargo Area Rd
Chicago, IL 60666

Last Drop:
M-Th 10:00 PM
Fri 10:00 PM
Sat 8:30 PM

I don't recall any fedex locations actually IN the O'Hare terminals.

Thanks bseller and Sweet Willie. I prefer to use FedEx and will have sealed the package once I clear Immigration and Customs. I guess I'll use the FedEx facility at BOS as it is open until 9:30 PM. I was looking for an alternative in case my ORD-BOS flight was missed or delayed as this package really has to go out the day I arrive.

I think there's a Fedex dropbox in the Admirals Club in Terminal 3 (the one in the walkway between the H and K concourses). Not sure if getting to this one is feasible since you're flying UA.....

It also might be worth calling the business center in the Hilton to see what their options are. They definitely have shipping services, but I don't know if it's Fedex.

FWIW, there is a FedEx drop box in the UA RCC in Terminal 1 Concourse B (upstairs) in the mini-business center behind the area where the agents sit, and back towards the conference rooms. Pick-up in Mon-Fri only, at 7 PM. I dropped my package there and it is "in the system".

Last pickup at FedEx drop in Admiral's Club?

I'm in a similar situation where I need to drop off my passport for a visa after clearing customs. Anyone know the last pickup time for the FedEx drop in the Admiral's Club?

Thanks,
-jane

This thread is 3 years old so probably the first question should be, is there still a drop-off at AA club? Good luck.

Cheers.

Welcome to Flyertalk^

A search on Fedex locations didn't raise any for inside of ORD for me. FYI.

This thread reminds me of the Business Center at the Hilton. Maybe this is more common than I realize, but they would charge $2 to take a Fedex envelope. Literally, $2 to hand someone an envelope - I always thought this was such a rippoff.

I paid $5 to a business center at an off-strip resort in Vegas to hand them a Fedex envelope, so with my sample size of now two, I suppose $2 was a deal.

The referenced dropbox in the RCC is still there too.

Sorry to bump this thread, but wanted to add a bit more info. I just had to use this to send off some passports for express Visas so perhaps this will help someone else out down the road.

The ORD RCC at C16 has a FedEx drop box (with some supplies provided) and has a scheduled pick-up time of 7pm Mon-Fri. ^

Terminal 3 H/K Admirals Club

I figured I'd post an update as well, as I was looking for info on this on the way to ohare yesterday and came across this thread. Indeed, the admirals club at h/k still has a 7pm fedex pickup dropbox directly past checkin on your right - when I went, fully loaded with supplies.

Great thread! I'm in need of a FedEx box at ORD for the same reason the OP 3+ years ago needed one; passport!

I will update this post if the box at C16 is still there
