Anyone have information regarding the flow control issues at Ohare this morning?

faa.gov says

Due to WEATHER/LOCIGS/VSBY and WEATHER/LOW CIGS, there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving Chicago OHare International Airport, Chicago, IL (ORD). This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 51 minutes. To see if you may be affected, select your departure airport and check "Delays by Destination".

Please continue to follow this in the Chicago forum, since it is not a UA-specific topic.

Thanks for your understanding.

Light rain = 3 hour delays

So there's a nice drizzle coming down here at O'Hare, which is causing 3-hour delays pretty much across the board on AA. (I assume that UA has similar problems.) The Admirals Club looks like a refugee camp.

All this because of a little rain. Who could have possibly imagined that it might rain in Chicago in March?

OK, I'll crawl back in my beer now.

Even when it's sunny, clear skies, no wind, and 70 degrees...ORD still has flow control issues.
