Peoria restaurants
On a long-term engagement in Peoria, so thought I'd add a listing of good restaurants as I find them. So far:
Jim's Steak House - Good steaks downtown.
Sushigawa - Suprisingly good sushi.
Hoop's - Really good pizza downtown.

I was just there last week & Sully's had very average food, but very cheap drinks the night that I was there (Wednesday). It was $2 for anything. They participate in Dining Rewards, so that is another bonus.

Seven on Prospect in Peoria Heights is excellent. You almost forget you're in Peoria when you're there.
Jim's also is superb. I've also heard good things about Red Zin. Farther away from downtown, the Fish House and the Lariat Club are good choices.
And one of the best things about Hoops? They serve food until 4:30 a.m., seven nights a week. Richard's downtown also serves until about then.
For a medium-sized city in corn country, Peoria has some surprisingly decent dining.

Here are some of the Peoria restaurants we are considering for an upcoming dinner: Jonah's Seafood House, Thanh Linh Vietnamese, Publik House, June, Haddad's, Alexander's steakhouse (cook your own steaks)
Any feedback on the above?
On a side note, if there are any Central IL Flyertalkers that would like to dine in Peoria with other Flyertalkers, please see this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...july-15-a.html
