Best Steak

Hi Guys --

I'm curious where I can find the best steak in Chicago. I'm going to be up there on a business trip and have a night to myself on the ole expense account. Please let me know your opinions!

There are lots -- where are you staying? I like Keefers, and Nine is cool -- there's a bar in the middle of the restaurant which, if you're eating alone, would be less awkward.

Yoshi's has a Wagyu strip steak on their menu this month. If you're interested and not here in June, you may want to call to see if it is on the menu in July. And you would feel comfortable eating at the comfortable bar there too.

There is also Fogo de Chao if you really want to pig out. Some people are not fans - I think it's great, particularly if you're looking to SPEND!

I'll be staying at the Swissotel this trip. I've been to Fogo here in Atlanta and love it, but I'd really like to get something unique to Chicago. Thanks for the ideas!

This thread should help to give you some ideas. There are several relatively close to your hotel which get good reviews consistently -- you'll find many listed & commented about in the thread linked. Enjoy!
