I've had quite a good experience (a really good facial)at the Deborah Davis Day Spa in Elmhurst. It's run by the owners and Deborah herself could likely work on you. It's not exactly luxurious/fancy (in comparison with the others that have been listed), but she knows her stuff.

Mrs JJ has to agree with cawhite. She did about a 2 hour deal at the Penninsula spa on Monday and thought it was the " best experience in a spa she's ever had". If we didn't have to catch a flight that afternoon, I think she would have stayed all day.
