Marche!

Fantastic deal at Marche currently. On Mondays and Wednesdays, they offer a three course $25 prix fixe dinner. What is amazing about this is that EVERYTHING on the regular menu is included. I had a $15.95 crab cake, $17.95 lemon sole and a great tarte au citron all for $25! Even the most expensive item on the menu, the $34.95 strip steak was included in the deal. There were four of us, everything was excellent (except the "chewy" profiteroles). Great deal AND they give you a $50 cetrificate to one of their sister restaurants, Opera. Even the obnoxiously loud music (which has been an issue for me there in the past) was at a pleasant level. They are located at 833 W. Randolph (1 block west of Halsted).

There is no announced date for the expiration of this offer, so who knows?

They had something like this last year...the $50 off deal during week nights. Good way to stir up biz during the week. I especially like it since I really prefer to not eat at those types of restaurants on the weekends, when they are inundated by suburbanites.

I usually don't eat out on weekdays, but this offer might motivate me to join the in-the-know diners.

I have a chance of being able to make 4/10, should know by this Monday. I know I cannot make 4/12, or any other Mon/Wed after that until sometime in late May.

I don't think 4/10 will work as there is a special $75 wine tasting/dinner there that evening (that is, unless people want to do that). However, as Willie has pointed out before, Flyertalkers are notoriously frugal.

Food & Beverage bill (together) must be at least $75 to get the $50 off.

PM me if interested.
