The ephemera behind the city's most beloved newsman is now on view for all to see. MIKE ROYKO'S PAPERS were donated to the Newberry Library by his widow earlier this year. The collection of columns, notebooks and more opened to the public last week. Dec. 1, 8:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Dec. 2 and Dec. 3, 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. 60 W.
