Well, I found the shuttle to Bloomington, but I can't book a place in Bloomington? Everthing's full. It's not homecoming, but IU is playing in Ohio State that weekend in football, so I guess that's the reason. So, I guess I'll rent a car and stay out of town. Any recommendations as to where? tls

I'm not sure what is going on in Bloomington. Do you know which dates exactly (the weekend of the 22/23)? Either way, the closest I found was Bedford, Indiana (via the triprewards.com site). Instead, you could find a place on the southside of Indy and drive (depending on what you have planned). A hotel in Indy could possibly be a bit cheaper. Good luck!

I'd probably try something near the southside of Indy (travel time from airport hotels wouldn't be too much off of the travel time from those in Southport), or you may want to check out Columbus IN which is about an hour as well.

I arrive Friday Oct. 21 and depart Sunday the 23d. Thanks for the suggestions; staying south of Indy and driving down to Bloomington in a rental is probably what I'll do. Will be my 1st time in Indiana; will make my 36th state. tls
