Let the Monks do the cooking
Kick-off your holiday weekend with some traditional chanting. That's how the TIBETAN MONKS OF DREPUNG GOMANG MONASTERY will open their evening of cooking instruction at The Chopping Block. The monks will make dumplings, rice dessert and more while answering questions from curious diners. The event is a fundraiser for the Buddhist monks, whose ranks are growing, in part because they do not refuse entrance to anyone who wishes to join.
