Theater: Dead Wrong

Darby Tillis spent nine years, one month and 17 days in prison for a crime he did not commit. The now exonerated former inmate tells the tale of his five trials and three hung juries in DEAD WRONG, which opens its month-long run Friday. Mr. Tillis wrote both the script and the blues lyrics included in the play being mounted by the National Pastime Theater, which is known for addressing controversial issues in its works. April 8 to April 10, 2005 @ 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $20, $15 for students. 4139 N. Broadway, 773-327-7077.
