Fall Festivals kids experiences

It's not easy being a city kid when country kids get to run through corn mazes and pick their pumpkins from a patch, rather than a bin in front of Jewel. Give your kids the farm-life experience, even if they do less work in the fields than Paris Hilton would. The 25TH ANNUAL JOHANSEN FARMS' FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL AND CHILDREN'S ZOO offers unlimited hay, pony and train rides, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and vendors with taffy apples, apple cider and hand-dipped pretzels. Now through Oct. 31; daily 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., $7.50 per person on weekends, including all attractions. 710 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, 630-759-8711,
