Indianapolis restaurant name needed
I am looking for the name of a restaurant with the following characteristics. Any help is appreciated.
- The restaurant is located southwest or south of Indianapolis.
- It is in the middle of a woody, upmarket residential area. No other restaurants in the proximity.
- It has a log cabin feel.
- Good steaks.
- There are one or several bulls at the front entrance verandah.
- There is a bar at the entrance.
- There is a dance floor, the restaurant could be used for functions.
Can anyone come up with a name? Would appreciate any clues.

It's Bynum's Steakhouse...I know exactly which one you're talking about having driven past it daily for years. There are 3 (I think, might be 2) steer out front. It's on South Meridian Street, 2-3(?) miles south of downtown Indy, just north of Troy Ave. (I am definite on the location) Haven't eaten there, but a lot of folk seem to like it. Hope that helps!

Thank you!
Thank you, cawhite60156!
I almost gave up on this one...
I double checked with the people who needed the name of the restaurant and it looks like it's a "bingo!"
Great shame I cannot join you at the St Elmo's do... Hope you'll have a great time in August.
Thanks again.

There are three in front of the building! I do recall though, years and years and years ago, that there was only one. But we're talking easily 15+ years ago. It's too bad you can't be here in August for ST Elmos, but perhaps the next time I'm in Tokyo we can meet for a steak at the steakhouse (NY Grill?) at the Park Hyatt?
