Alliance Bakery – Chicago
picked up a loaf of pumpkin bread from Alliance Bakery. It was ok but lacked the dense pumpkin(y) flavor of the loaves I bake.
Anyone have favorite bakeries in the Chicago area?

Oddly enough, the best croissants I've found yet are at the local Dominicks...
