Terminal 3 to Terminal 5

Is it possible to go from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 from inside the airport without having to exit the Terminal 3 building and take a bus/shuttle to Terminal 5

I ask this question because I have never been to ORD and wondering whether going from Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 is like DTW pre-2002 where you had to take a shuttle to go to the international terminals.

I do have at least 2 hours to make the connection from American Airlines to AirIndia

Thanks!

Sorry, you have to exit airside to get to Terminal 5. T5 is separate from 1,2 and 3, and they are only connected by the train (which is landside).

To get there, walk out and follow the signs for the inter-terminal train. ORD is a great airport, and everything is very well labeled.
