ORD: Using Clear in T2 for a flight from T3

My spouse has Clear but not PreCheck. Does it make sense to arrive at T2 for the Clear line and walk to T3 for our flight on AS? (No checked luggage.)

If the lines are really long (which they always seem to be for non PreCheck at ORD), I don't see any reason not to use CLEAR in T2 and walk over.

I would, with only AS, B6, AC and some UA ticketing in T2, the lines aren't an issue. TSA at times still staffs with the mindset DL operates from there.

I have Clear & Precheck and always use T2 when flying AA. It is usually faster.
