Spending a weekend in Door County in mid September. Ideas of what to do - outdoors stuff, food, etc? I'm assuming the water may be a bit chilly at that time.

We did a weekend in Door Co. last summer. We stayed in Fish Creek at the Whistling Swan (B&B). They also had a great restaurant for dinner - I would definitely recommend it. You can check if anyone is serving a fish boil another night. Kayaking on Lake Michigan, if tours are still operating, is pretty cool: you can kayak into the caves along the limestone cliffs. Peninsula State Park is worth a hike. You can check out Washington Island for the day (check seasonal ferry schedule). There are several orchards, so check what might be in season for pick-your-own, or homemade goods.
