I did an overnight at ORD a few years ago, I slept in the baggage claim of terminal 1. Thankfully, both the security checkpoint and United Club open fairly early. My advice is to bring earplugs, there are constant announcements even during the small hours of the "WELCOME TO CHICAGO!", "THIS IS A SECURITY ANNOUNCEMENT!" deal.

They've been allowing regular UC visitors to use GFL showers for a while now. It's officially listed as an amenity on united.com: https://www.united.com/web/en-US/con...s/default.aspx.
