Where you're going is the question, if it's to the west side 'burbs I've been OK with "Westlake Express" (the limo license arm of Westlake Cab) cars are crap and occasionally dirty, but the drivers are much better than you find at the stand. You have to call ahead, and they can't take you anywhere in the city, but on the few occasions I can't get picked up they've been OK.
