ORD terminal T5

If I have a domestic boarding pass for T3, can I accompany someone to go into T5 (intl terminal) for her flights? Then afterwards, make my way to T3 without going through security again?

Thanks for your help.

No. Unfortunately there is no way to go between T5 and any other terminal airside.

No, but you can go to T5 and say good-bye in the food court or bar, a little more civilized than what is possible in domestic terminals.

I have a fond memory of bidding a tearful 'wiedersehen' to my (at the time) new German girlfriend at T5, but I don't recall the food court/bar area to be civilized - it was a bit of a mess! It's been awhile since I've been to the departure level though - have they improved it?

No, if anything with the glass wall up and stanchions placed to keep people away from the lines, it's a real mess on busy days.

The whole revamp of the food court is well....laughable now with the TSA sticking their nose into it, demanding certain things and not wanting to pay for them.
