4 hr layover at ORD

We are going to Texas for spring break, my step daughter and husband have never been to Chicago. We connect through ORD. We land at 9 am and don't leave again until 1.20 pm so I am thinking it would be cool to take the train into Chicago and have some pizza and go back. Am I nuts? My step daughter is 10 so it's not like a toddler- she won't slow us down.
Any suggestions on where to go in that time span?

Thanks

That could be cutting it close. There are a few good Chicago style pizza places within a mile of the airport, so you may be better off just taking a cab there if a taste of Chicago is your primary goal. Rosati's on Touhy Ave and Giordano's on Higgins Road are two good choices.

Echo that. Giardano's has the Deep Dish pizza. You may even find a coupon on their web site.
