Explosion at O'Hare - 01 Nov. 2011

A small explosion occurred at the United terminal 1, concourse C, around gates 7 and 8, baggage handling area. At least one person has facial injuries and has been taken to a hospital.

So it was a battery? Where is CO PR in all of this? Did some battery acid exit the casing?

TSA says it was a "sealed lead battery" and that everything was on the up and up. Injuries were described as minor, so I'm hoping the employee is okay.
