Anyone in O'Hare?

I can never find a free outlet at O'Hare, but I'd heard that under/behind most water fountains there's a spare one (I think that means that one is being used by the fountain itself). If anyone is passing through, could you see if you can spot such a thing? (And if you can send me a photo, I'll really be your best friend.) Thanks

What terminals/airlines do you fly in and out of? In my experience, even the drinking fountains vary from terminal to terminal. (I've flown Delta only once in the last 10 years, but am now envious because T2 has fountains that can fill water bottles. T3--which I typically use--still has the lousy low-pressure things.)

Usually American, which as I remember has those stainless steel ones with the thumb button right by the spigot. I've just never thought to look underneath them.

I keep forgetting to buy one, but a friend travels with a very lightweight power strip - essentially a fancy extension cord with 3-4 connections. He's always popular in conference rooms that aren't properly wired, and I'm sure in airports as well. Something sort of like this:

agreed, I've got a 1 into 3 power splitter plug, usually lots of cheers when I plug it into an outlet so more can use it and occassionally harsh words from people who think that once they plug an item into an outlet that it becomes 'theirs'.

Flew out of T3 at ORD today. Looked on the wall beneath the water fountains and no outlet.
