Things to do in MSP
Hi guys, newbie here. ; w;
I have some questions, I have an upcoming flight on the 15th TPA-MSP-FNT/FNT-ATL-TPA on DL, and I have a 3 hour layover in Minneapolis, I want to know if there are any 'must do' things in MSP? I know the observation deck is there, is it still open? are there any shops with model airplanes for a decent price? I'd assume there would be...
Oh, and is there any special place you recommend to get a bite to eat?
Well thanks guys, It's much appreciated!

First of all, welcome to Flyer Talk -
Regarding MSP, my hometown, if you are interested you can take the light rail to the Mall of America which is only about a 10 minute ride. Estimate $2.50 possibly less depending on time of day.
Tons of restaurants, most are chains...personally I'm not a shopper so MOA isn't of interest but I bet you can find model planes somewhere.
I've never been to the observation deck at MSP so can't answer your question. I happen to like Ike's restaurant and French Meadow Bakery but there's a Chili's and a couple other chains as well. Also Wolfgang Puck.
Hope this helps a little and enjoy your layover.

Thanks!
Ooh, a Wolfgang puck, sounds good.
I would go to the Mall of America, but I'd have to go through security again, won't I?
/one pat down is enough for me! x:
I'll check out that French meadow bakery.
I'm sure I'll enjoy my layover, I'm looking forward to that 90 minute flight on a crj-200...
being 6'1 that'll be an interesting ride.
Thanks again for the tips!

6'1" in a 200? You'll be fine. I used to have to clean them, just be glad you won't be standing. And be glad you aren't on an SF-3.
