Spending the night in MSP?

Title says it all. Doing a mileage run through MSP soon; arrive ~11pm, depart pre-7am following day. Would it be a) allowed and b) safe to spend the night in the secure area of the terminal? Trying to save on hotel costs...

Apparently, others have done it.....

See link: http://www.sleepinginairports.net/usa/minneapolis.htm

As for whether you SHOULD.....I've always thought of MSP as a reasonably safe airport. If the airport people would let me stay, I'd be comfortable hanging out there. No way in hell would I ever fall asleep ANYWHERE in public though!
