Perhaps YX has not paid commissions to Expedia lately.
Travelocity and Orbitz still offer Midwest flights.

Interesting -- I could not get YX to come for MSP-MKE just now, and Midwest is not in Expedia's dropdown list of airlines.
They cancelled a lot of routes & refused to rebook countless customer itineraries in the past few months. They did rebook two of mine (originally booked through Travelocity) on NW but it's taken many hours on the phone. Once rebooked, they seem to hold back on paying NW so the itins can be ticketed & confirmed.
Maybe the agencies are dropping YX? If that's happening, the end is nigh.

More likely the commission cost doesn't cover the hours on the phone need to do all the rebookings and make them stick. If Travelocity repeated their experience with me with every affected customer, YX is a big red mark on their ledger.

Expedia shows YX as the ns option between MKE and DCA; it also shows that there are no ns flights for MKE-BOS, though.
Certain other YX ns routes, such as MKE-PHX and MKE-LAS show up as codeshares with NW (the carrier is shown as NW, with the small facing arrows alongside the carrier indicating codeshare); the flights are not listed as YX. It appears that NW codeshares on YX routes will only appear where NW does not provide ns service itself.

If YX doesn't have the ability to make sure all of their flights show up on travel sites such as Expedia, it will only hurt the bottom line. The NW/YX partnership was supposed to benefit both carriers, and not hurt YX.
