Midwest Executive Program

I was browsing the Midwest Miles website and found some information about something called the "Executive Program" for those who fly 20k miles per year or more. I was wondering if anyone has actually experienced this and if so is it worth contacting them about. I meet the criteria but have never been notified about this. Thanks!

Huskers, Welcome to Flyertalk and the Midwest Airlines Forum. When you get a chance, please update your profile with your home airport and programs you participate in.

To answer your question there are a handful of us, who post here regularly, that are members of Midwest Miles Executive. If you want an easy way to see if YX recognizes you as Executive or not, a small group of letters "MME" prints on your boarding pass so you can use the elite lines in DCA, MKE, etc.

This thread might be of use to you: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=510197

Here's another: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=510197

Finally, if you want to talk to someone at YX try calling and ask to speak to Executive Services. 1-800-452-2022

The benefits of YX elite are small but welcome.

Great airline, but one of the weakest premier programs I've participated in. Been in and out of Exec status, and didn't even notice the difference, other than the discounted annual rate for the Club at MKE.

Just out of curiosity, what could be improved with their Executive level? The only real advantage that other airlines have with their program that I can think of is being upgraded to first class. And I like flying on YX because I know I will be in first class'ish type seats, don't have to worry about being upgraded. Do midwest exec's get better award availability?

Not only better availability but discounts on award travel too! 10K miles off one award each year!

Adding the elite line at TSA in MKE, DCA and other airports means I never wait in line more than 5 minutes for security.

Midwest Elite status is the only way Pax are allowed to pre-book the exit row - a big deal on saver routes.

Dedicated toll-free number & agents help during irregular ops or to book award travel. Very handy.

All nice perks, although I wish bonus miles were more than 50%.

YX exec status do not get improved access to awards. I definitely have had a difficult time using my miles for awards. Ended up switching to UA - 1K makes award travel much easier.

I disagree.

Tried to use Mrs. MKEbound's YX miles to book a ticket back in April, only "rulebuster" seats available. I call the YX Elite line and get a standard award using my miles.
