I'm flying Den-MKE in April and I cannot find out the size/type of the Midwest plane. Anyone know? The flights are YX 522 and YX 523. Thanks in advance

Orbitz is showing both flights as Boeing 717's.

yup, they are 717's. holds 88 passengers, and its a 2x2 configuration. no middle seats and plenty of legroom ^

YX planes can be found at seatguru.com, and the exit row does offer some additional leg room on the 717, but there really isn't a bad seat on YX's 717's

Thank you both...I appreciate it.
I love too that while I was waiting for an answer before I had ticketed, the flight dropped over $100 overnight ^

Fare sale began yesterday or today. Make sure you book on the website and use one of the promo codes listed. Good prices mean it's a good time to book travel.....

As long as it's not Midwest Connect or Saver Service, pretty much any seat is good on Midwest Plus the B717 & MD83/88 series are somewhat similar in size, with 88-112 seats in the 2X2 format (not like comparing a 100-seat 717 with close to 200-seat 757).
By the way, just for comparison, I think a Midwest 717 Signature has 88 seats while Airtran 717 has 117 total seats-105 coach seats & 12 business class seats, which are almost the same as a Midwest coach seat!

Hey, even the service aboard Connect or Saver is far friendlier than found on most other airlines.

As for the MD80's, aren't they all configured in Saver (2x3)service?

All the 717's are in Signature (2x2) configuration; how many of the MD83/88's are?

There are 2 MD-88 (Ship 601 and 701), those are both Saver config and primarily do the LAX and LAS flights due to longer a/c range.
There are 11 MD-81 and 82 a/c, IIRC 6 are Saver, 3 are Signature, and 2 are in super-Signature charter configuration (74 seats, club seating) I know the signature MD80s do some of the LGA flights...occasional MKE-MCI...and can fill in on charter runs.
