Visa requirements for Egypt
Hi I hope this is the right forum for this question.
I'm travelling to CAI soon and would like to know what the visa entry requirements are for UK passport holders. I was under the impression from previous visits that you could have it issued on arrival for around US$15. However the UK Egyptian consulate website seems to suggest that it needs to be issued by them prior to travelling.
Has anybody here been to CAI recently who can confirm?
Thanks in advance!

Relax, you can get a 15$ visa on arrival without any problems at all. I've been to CAI 3 times in 2 months, using those sticker visa and never had any problems. The bonus is that sticker only takes half of the page, so you can save some valuable space by placing it on half-filled page

Just go and buy the sticker at the FX counters in the immigration hall. Not at the desk itself.
Also, be careful when sticking the visa in your passport, to put it opposite a page that is already full.. as the ink is never dry when they shut your passport before handing back, and you end up with a smudge on the opposite page.. a waste if it was a clean empty page.
