The last time I traveled in Israel & Jordan (a year and a half ago), USDs were readily accepted and I didn't have to bother with the exchange.

Is this still true for those countries, and including Egypt?

Thanks in advance.

You will be traveling to TLV when you arriving in TLV airport after you clear customs & passport controls when you exiting from baggage claim you will walk further on the right side you can see Foreign Exchange after you exiting from customs then you walk on the right side outside waiting area. I remember when we went over there to get foreign exchange with Israeli money. Then you continues on the right then you see Change. The sign say Change on the left side near the waiting area. Hope this your helps. Thanks!

Oh, in Egypt they'll take your USD, but you'll pay more! They especially ask for British Pounds, too.

It's so easy to just go to the exchange desk at your hotel and get Egyptian pounds. I like looking at foreign money, too.
