Cyprus to BEI

I will be in Cyprus for a few days in January, but would like to hop over and visit my friend in Beirut. Does anyone have any tips on the cheapest way to do this fo rmy fiance and I. Flights for both of us would be over $500, and we can't afford that; so many thanks in advance if you know of a ferry or cheaper flights.

Cheers :-:

martian I am not aware of any ferry service at the moment between LCA and BEY and the only airlines that serve that route are ME and CY. Both airlines are showing a fare of $280 per person at the moment. I'm not sure if there are other options at the moment...

Anyone flown into BEY recently?
Situation normal, more or less?

Thinking about going there from LCA in January.

Well, BEY does show up for a lot of LCA-AMM, AMM-CAI and CAI-LCA routings in February.

MrHalliday things did go back to normal just a few weeks after hostilities ended. Please feel free to PM me should you have any specific questions/concerns.
