"United Arab Emirates Passenger Service Charge -AE- (29Jul04)

Please be advised the details of United Arab Emirates Passenger Service
Charge -AE- as follow:
AED 30.00 levied on all passenger departures from Abu Dhabi -AUH-,
Al Ain -AAN-, Dubai -DXB-, and Sharjah -SHJ- charge to be collected
at point of sale and shown separately on the ticket.

Exemptions:
-Infants -Children under 2-.
-Airline crew on duty.
-Transit/transfer passengers continuing travel within 24 hrs.

Above charge applied to tickets issued from 01Aug04 for travel on/after
01Sep04. Thank you for your attention."

Oh Really ??

UAE does not make enough money from oil ??

UAE does not exploit their "slave labor" foreign work force enough ???


I guess then it is understandable that they must charge visitors this new fee.
