Desert Excursion from Dubai: COVID Era?
I'm looking at a 5 day stay in Dubai, and am hoping to head out to the desert for either a day trip or an overnight. Given the COVID checkpoints between Dubai and Abu Dhabi (and maybe between other emirates), what's still open for being able to explore? Is there anywhere overnight that would be especially good for Stargazing? My visit coincides with a New Moon!
