Gulf News: UAE halts re-entry of residents who are abroad?

Gulf News is reporting that UAE residents who are currently outside the country cannot enter for the next two weeks: https://gulfnews.com/uae/government/....1584569904455

Can someone confirm if this is true? I could not find this on any official government or airline website.

It is true, confirmed from GDRFA and my local UAE Embassy. I had a flight to DXB booked for tomorrow morning, but in the process of changing it.,
