DXB Transit Question
My daughter and I are arriving at DXB about the same time on different airlines; I'm on Emirates and she is on Turkish. When I deplane, can I transit to Terminal 1 airside and meet her just before passport control, or do I have to use Emirates Terminal 3 exits and then meet her outside her Terminal 1?

Officially you are supposed to clear immigration at your terminal of arrival, but if you have no checked baggage you can probably get away with using T3 when arriving at T1 (some Emirates flights use T1 gates but clear immigration/customs in T3), but not vice-versa.
