Transit visa required?
Hello. I got a visit visa for Abu Dhabi and plan to leave next month on Saudia Airlines via Jeddah, My transit time approximately more than 12 hours. should i need to get a transit visa from Saudi Embassy?. Thank You.

The problem will be whether they will issue you one or not. They have issued transit visas in the past from many embassies (including the US), and you did not specify which country you are coming from, so it behooves you to stop by the embassy to discuss options. If you are an expat, you may want to check both with the embassy in your residence country and the embassy in your home country, as the options available from each may differ.
If they will not issue a transit visa, it may be worth it to try to get a visit visa, which may require a local Saudi business to issue you an invitation letter(only costs them SR 5-10 to get it stamped by the chamber of commerce). You would then submit your application independently.
A 12 hour transit in Jeddah will be extremely painful. The lounge is ok, and the shopping/food options are quite limited and leave a lot to be desired.
