Dubai Duty Free - Asus T100

My apologies if this is not the ideal forum for this post but I figure it reaches the right target.

I am hoping to buy an Asus T100 (tablet with keyboard, windows 8.1, and office pre-installed). I'm wondering if it is available in Dubai Duty Free and for how much?

I have a 6 hour layover and would prefer to just buy it in the airport if I can.

Seems not available on their price list. http://www.dubaidutyfree.com/content...gs%20SEP14.pdf

The only 2 Asus are:
Asus N550jk-Cm316h I7 15.6”Fhd Touch Notebook 4,999.00 1,388.61
Asus Memo Pad 7” 16Gb Tablet PC ME172V 399.00 110.83

But you never know, could be there?

If you google Dubai International Airport Duty Free Prices, you will get a huge price list - I didn't see ASUS T100's there. Must say, though, that I have one and love it!

Sorry - while I was looking another reply was posted.

When are you traveling? I'm passing through DXB on Sunday, so I could have a look if that's any use?

I also have a T100

edy4eva and kileysmom, thanks for looking at the price lists but I had actually already done so. For whisky, electronics, etc. the price lists show very little of their actual inventory and availability.

DYKWIA, I am traveling on September 24th so if you could look for me that would be great!

How do you like your T100? I suspect I will eventually buy a larger ultrabook but for ~$400 the T100 seems like a great deal given it comes pre-loaded with MS Office!

If you are coming to Switzerland; the Asus T100 costs about US$ 400,00.

At the post office at ZRH Airport you can buy one for US$ 390,00.......:-)

Yea, they're cheaper in the US and Canada as well.

Unfortunately, I'll only be going through Dubai, Singapore, and Australia this trip and of those 3 countries Dubai appears to be the cheapest.

I'm also still considering the Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 which I am almost certain they sell at Duty Free so if someone catches the price of it I'd also appreciate it as that will help me make my final purchase decision.

Thank you so much DYKWIA. Did you happen to notice if that was for the 32GB or 64GB model?
